FAQ
How long have you been tattooing?
I have been tattooing since 2019. Originally, I was tattooing in Indianapolis, Indiana, then I moved to Denver, Colorado.
My best friend and I opened our own studio two and a half years after we moved to Denver.
I currently split my time between Denver, Brooklyn, Indiana, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City & many traveling conventions throughout the year.
Are tattoos painful?
One of the most common questions all tattoo artists receive is about how painful will the tattoo be. I wish I had an answer, but every person’s body responds differently to tattoos. Some people experience little to no pain.
If you are someone who has had a tattoo hurt more than they thought it should have in the past, please tell me what happened and share the photos of the tattoo. This will ensure that I am able to design a tattoo and place it correctly in a way that will make it as painless as I can.
Can you see my portfolio?
No, unless you click on it here or in the header or footer of every page of my site!

What tattoo aftercare products do you suggest?
I suggest that my clients use the following tattoo aftercare products:
-A&D Ointment for the first 3 days (use a small amount, apply when the tattoo is clean and dry)
-Non-scented Lotion can be used once you are done using the A&D ointment.
-For long-term care, I suggest the people wear sunscreen in the summer(not on a fresh tattoo) and apply a high-quality moisturizing lotion.
Where is your tattoo studio?
My tattoo studio is located in a suburb of Denver, Colorado called Glendale.
Do you travel to conventions?
Yes, I do. Follow my instagram, @maxbtattin, to learn what conventions I am attending.
Can I use tattoo numbing cream?
I do not suggest that my clients use numbing cream as it has been known to have adverse effects.
However, it is your body and your choice; my only request is that if you are planning on using a tattoo cream, please let me know.
